Support Staff Division Scholarships

Our goal for the 2026-2027 SSD budget:

Two $500 scholarships to Oregon library support staff to attend the OLA conference.

One $1,000 scholarship to Oregon library support staff to attend LIOLA.

The SSD Gateways scholarship helps Oregon library support staff attend:

• Support Staff Division conference (September 2026) $720 in scholarship funds aided the travel of 12 attendees

• OLA Conference (April 2027) $1,000 total

• LIOLA (July 2027) $1,000 total

• Other professional development opportunities could qualify, email [email protected] to request scholarship funds.

Scholarship funds are raised through the SSD Conference raffle, an SSD Auction and by our generous donors.

Funds are paid first to cover the relevant conference/LIOLA, left over funds go to the individual for their travel.

We will expect communication about your needs and some form of verification of attendance.
